Leadership Team

Fazal has 25+ years of experience across Investment Banking, Corporate Advisory, and asset management services. He works as the Managing Director of wealth business and has worked with organizations like Rana Investments, Reliance Industries, and Lloyds Finance across his career before founding Merisis Advisors in 2009. He completed his B. TECH from IIT, BHU in 1990, and his MBA from IIM, Calcutta in 1994.

Ruchir Kapoor has 20+ years of experience across Wealth Management, Fintech, NBFC, Trade and SME Banking. At Merisis, Ruchir manages the wealth-management practice and co-heads the Fintech vertical. He has worked with corporates like Swift, Essel Finance, Tata Capital, and ICICI Bank and has managed book sizes of $400mn to $2bn.

Naresh brings has 16 years of experience across Wealth Management, having worked in diverse roles with Standard Securities, Standard Chartered Bank, and HDFC in the past. At Merisis, he leads the Product and advisory function and is responsible for the overall investment strategy and asset allocation at the firm.

Shobit has over 26 years of experience in managing Fixed Income / Asset Allocation portfolios and running Foreign Exchange Traded Derivatives, Trading / Strategic positions with Banking, Asset Management, and Life Insurance companies in the Treasury. At Merisis Wealth, he looks after the Fixed-income strategy. He has worked with organizations like Exide Life Insurance, Kotak AMC, Reliance AMC, Principal AMC, and ABN AMRO Bank. Shobit is a CFA charter holder (CFA Institute - USA and ICFAI Hyderabad) and PGDBA (ICFAI B school - Delhi).
