For executives and professionals
Planning for ESOPs, bonuses and long-term growth
Our investment bankers cover six sectors, so we know the industries you work in, and the functions inside them: finance, marketing, product, technology and more. We build a plan for growth and preservation around your situation.

Situations
Common situations
- 01
ESOPs are a large part of your wealth
One company can account for your income, your bonus and your savings. We help you see the exposure and plan for it.
- 02
A bonus is approaching
A large amount is easier to place when the plan is agreed before it arrives.
- 03
One income, several goals
Education, property and retirement each need their own allocation.
What we do
Growth and preservation, in one plan
- 01
ESOP planning
When to exercise, how much to hold and how the tax applies. Share awards from a foreign parent company are covered in the same planner.
- 02
Growth and preservation
Core products such as mutual funds and bonds for stability, and alternatives for growth. Private investments are matched to your risk appetite, with liquid and debt holdings alongside.
- 03
Accreditation
Accredited investors can reach PMS and AIFs at lower minimums. We manage the application.
- 04
Industry and function
We understand how pay, equity and careers work in the sectors we cover.
- 05
Estate and succession
Wills, nominations and trusts, through our empanelled law firm.

Accredited investor status
Senior executives often meet the income test for accreditation. The check takes five minutes.
Questions we are often asked
At exercise, the market value minus anything you pay is added to your salary and taxed at your slab rate, usually through TDS. When you sell, the gain above that value is capital gains: 12.5% on long-term gains above ₹1.25 lakh a year for listed Indian shares held more than 12 months, or 20% if sold sooner. Shares of a foreign-listed parent are treated as unlisted in India and need 24 months to count as long-term. Rates are for FY 2026-27.
It depends on the product. PMS and the Merisis Opportunities Fund start at ₹50 lakh, and other AIFs usually at ₹1 crore, with lower minimums possible for accredited investors. A planning conversation has no minimum.
There is no separate fee for our guidance. Merisis Wealth is remunerated by product providers when you invest in some products, and we explain how on request.
